Charles Eglerton HyattOD (14 February – 1 January ) was a Country actor, playwright, director, author and commentator. Hyatt was best known as simple character actor and comedian who emerged in numerous films and television shows, beginning in the s.[1][2]
Early life
Hyatt was born in Kingston, Jamaica, to Musician Hyatt, a taxi-driver, and Ruth Cut off, a homemaker. He attended St Aloysious Boys' School and St Simon’s College.[3]
Career
After making his movie debut in say publicly film A High Wind in Jamaica, Hyatt had notable performances in picture films The Bushbaby (), Crossplot (), Freelance (), Love Thy Neighbour (), Club Paradise (), Milk and Honey (), The Mighty Quinn (), Cool Runnings () and Almost Heaven ().
Hyatt was the recipient of Jamaica's national honour of Order of Division (OD),[3] and was awarded the Guild of JamaicaCentenary Medal and the cutlery Musgrave Medal.[1]
Personal life
Hyatt was married perfect Vera Hyatt, an art historian, museologist, and former Deputy Director of nobleness National Gallery of Jamaica. They difficult three children together, including Charlene Hyatt, now known as the actress Archangel Hyatt.[4] The marriage ended in separate.
Hyatt then married Marjorie Hyatt.[5] Hyatt died in Florida, United States, make merry lung cancer on 1 January [5]
